Location: the hotel was near Amazon's theater, the Opera House which has restaurants across the street with outdoor seating, and a rooftop rotating restaurant. I appreciated the historic-style building, great-sized and huge room for television.

We had a fantastic experience at the revolving restaurant on the top floor of Taj Mahal Hotel in Manaus. The international cuisine with local products was excellent, especially the fish with Amazonian fruit sauce. The views from the restaurant were amazing, with a stunning panorama of the opera house, the ships, and the bridge with changing color lighting. Our group received outstanding service from the waiters, particularly Roberto, who ensured we had a lovely evening. The taxi fare from the ship terminal was affordable at only $10 or 15 BRL. I highly recommend this restaurant for a memorable dining experience.

I recently stayed at the Taj Mahal Hotel for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The staff, especially Roberto, were friendly, fluent in English, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance of city sights and a bustling dining area. The price was reasonable, and the included breakfast and reliable wifi were added bonuses. The room was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and the internet connection was strong. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay.

The affordable rates and breakfast were a nice gesture. The location close to the city center and the river made it easy to explore.
The room was small and had a musty smell, indicating poor indoor air quality. The bathroom was not cleaned properly and had visible mold.
